Middle East Health Information Management Services L.L.C. (MEHIM) was founded in November 2011 in Abu Dhabi, the Capital of United Arab Emirates. MEHIM is a Health Information Management consulting company that specializes in providing highly trained, experienced, and credentialed coding consultants to health care organizations for the purpose of coding and auditing client records to ensure recovery of appropriate reimbursement as well as providing the highest level of coder educational services. The main source of revenue for any hospital is reimbursement from 3rd party payers (insurance companies). The more accurate the coding the better the reimbursement will be for the hospital as well as the better the reporting of data for the purposes of analyzing data. MEHIM contracts with health care organizations in order to assist the facility in the realization of its goals with emphasis on enhancing revenue cycles, minimizing compliance exposure and improving coding accuracy.
MEHIM provides coding and auditing consultant’s codes, and audits all types of healthcare encounters; such as inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, surgical, and emergency department. In addition to coding and auditing services, MEHIM provides other Health Information Management consulting services such as education, oncology data management, interim management, denials management software and special projects.
